Madison & her helper bees

I didn’t always love flowers.

For a long time, I thought they were a waste, something you grabbed at the grocery store that looked nice for a few days and then disappeared.

That changed when I began working alongside a wedding florist in North Carolina and saw what flowers could actually be.

Not just decorations, but art.

She worked exclusively on weddings she was also planning, which meant I was part of creating everything from table arrangements to large-scale installations, arches filled with blooms, greenery across ceilings, and full event setups. I was often trusted to take a design and carry it through, learning the details that most people don’t see, how to properly prep stems, how flowers open, and how to create movement so everything looks its best at exactly the right moment.

After stepping away to raise my family, I came back to flowers with a completely different perspective.

Less “more is more,” and more intention. More space. More artistry.

Now, I create arrangements that feel natural, expressive, and a little unexpected, designed to bring beauty into everyday spaces, not just big events.

HoneybeeBee Co. is built around that idea.

It’s also built around my home. My kids love helping with flowers, and what started as something personal has grown into something I get to share.

At the end of the day, I want people to feel what I feel when I’m creating: a little more joy, a little more beauty, and a moment to pause.
